Wedding Showcase at La Arboleda Orchard & Venue

This weekend I participated and photographed a wedding showcase at La Arboleda, an orchard and a venue in Santa Margarita Hills, CA. The venue is located just in-between Lompoc and Buellton on HWY 246. With it's 360 degree gorgeous back drop this venue has many amenities including a bridal suite, groom suite, ceremony site, large barn, stage, rustic bar, bbq pit, and a wood burning oven.

This wedding venue was built by the owner's father from the ground up, who also built a lot of the local wineries around Santa Barbara Wine Country. There are so many beautiful details about this wedding venue that I absolutely love! The rich history and story of this venue steeps deeply in beauty & artistry all the way from each wooden post in the barn, barn glass doors, to the wooden water wheel right outside of the bridal suite. The wooden posts were made from trees from across the street that were dug from the drought and milled down to create all the posts in the barn.  The wooden water wheel was handmade from a reclaimed fence. There are many little pieces of interesting history like this woven throughout entire venue.

It was especially wonderful to be part of this particular wedding show case because of all the friends and new friends that I met. It was wonderful to experience our tight knit community. Some of the wedding professionals that showcased included, Pure Joy Catering, Scott Topper Productions, Bella Bridal, Solvang Bakery, Sweet Repeats, Scratch Kitchen, Fiddlehead, and many more!

Here are some of my favorite images of the day. To see all of the images I photographed, you can view them here on my online gallery.
